Matthew Becker '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew Becker I am a hard working kid who likes to get to practice early and stay as late as the coach will let me. I love to see my teammates improve as much as I like to see myself improve. I primarily play shooting guard on my high school team but can play all five positions on the floor. My high school team runs a motion offense when the other team is man up, but when the other team is in zone we usually run a three out two in. My dad is an owner of his own business in our local town, and my mom is a secretary for a plumbing and electrical company. I will do anything that is legal to help me succeed not just on the court but also in the class room and in life. As a freshman I was named all conference honorable mention and as a team we finished second in districts, runner up in a holiday tournament, and we also received third place in a different tournament. On my high school team I started as a freshman. For the past three summers I have played for three different summer teams the largest one being the Nebraska bison. In the class room I maintained a 3.75 average GPA and plan to increase to a 4.0 in my next 3 years of high school.
