Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Patrick McGuinness, I am a junior attending Albertus Magnus HS participating in school everyday and I am a part of the schools basketball team. Over 3 years so far my GPA is around a 3.0 and my grades have improved each year. I am very serious about being a student athlete and I look forward to talking to any college coach that may have any interest in me.
I have worked very hard at basketball and been able to significantly improve each year. This past year was a real milestone for our team and myself. We won the Section 1 Championship for the first time in 17 years and I was chosen for some real nice honors. Most importantly I was able to help our team win the championship and help contribute to the great team unity that we have. This is a little embarrassing to be talking about myself this highly but if you'd like to contact any of my coaches I'm sure they'd tell you that I always compete hard and will do all I can to help my team win games. I can promise you that I will work harder than anyone at continuing to improve my own abilities and becoming a better player each year. I look forward to talking to any coaches that are interested in talking to me about their school and where I might fit in in their school and basketball program.
