Personal Statement
My name is Donivan Gray. Im 5'11 152 lbs. Im very dedicated to basketball i work out just about everyday. If im not playing basketball then I'm watching it or reading ou shoot and if you miss you did something wrong. In my current school because I get out early i go to our gym while the kids are having P.E. and practice until we have practice. I feel I have the potential to be a an important piece to a college's basketball program. I do anything to get better in basketball. I carry a handball with m everywhere to increase my handles i stay at my school till its 8'o clock or later just to work on everything about my game. Im very meticulous. I feel everyshot I take should go in. My philosophy is if you hit an open jumper once you should be able to do it everytime y I used to attend Mt. St. Michael academy but i transfered because i feel like they only played the kids the coaches liked the most and i did'nt fit into that style of play. Im more fit for a running offense and that isnt what they were into. I transfered to Christopher columbus highschool because my friend told me if i come to the school i could help them become better. Once i got there i went to one practice and made the team. My stats don't show how good i really am. If we were losing i would score 10 straight points to give us the lead or jus increase our lead. Then once this happened the starters came back in. Also my average dropped at the end of the season so the seniors and becnh players could play. All that being said my first year going to this school my team were conference champions with a record of 18-1. We lost in the semifinals to the champions of the previous year.
