Personal Statement

I'm a team player. No one is bigger then the team. I work just as hard in my athletics as in my academics. I can shoot very well. Off the catch and I'm improving from off the dribble. I hustle and try my best to get get boards and I play good defense. I am aware of my my spot on the floor.

2015 Strive to Succeed Lakers Basketball (13-15)
I started for the Lakers 15 and under basketball team. I was the starting Shooting guard and I was often the defensive anchor. I could also step out and knock down the 3 ball with ease. I no longer play with this team as I only played for this team for the winter.

It was a one day tournament. I was placed on a team with a total of 7 other athletes. We played 10 minute games for a total of about 6 games. My team eventually made it to the finals, where we won the championship.

I played for the Lakers as a starter. I played for the individual player team though so I didn't know the kids on my team so we didn't win many games and my fellow guard took many shots that he just can't make.
