Matthew Mayers '19 Recruiting Profile

As a collegiate athlete my character revolves around the players, trust between my fellow athletes helps me bond and be more comfortable playing. On the court I’m not a selfish player because I always try to bring positive energy to the team and get players involved so that we can bring ourselves up from adversity. Having fun is one of the most important parts of the game because what’s the point if you don't enjoy what you do. My dream has always been to play at the highest level of basketball but that comes with hard work and dedication. Academics comes first before basketball and I want to be successful on and off the court.
