Glen Anderson '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Glen Anderson. I am a PG from Harlem NYC and I attend Brooklyn Collegiate HS, which competes in the state's top conference - PSAL Brooklyn AA.  I am blessed to have received D1 offers from Howard University and Iona College - in addition I've been contacted by a number of coaches including coaches from the Big10, Big East, and SEC.  

I completed my sophomore year where averaged 15 points, 10 assists, and 4 steals. I was the first person in conference history to average 15 points and 10 assists. I was also recognized as ALL-BROOKLYN,  ALL-NEW YORK CITY,  and ALL-NEW YORK STATE (HONORABLE MENTION).  I was honored at Madison Square Garden for leading New York City in two categories: Assists per game (10) and Free Throw % (87%). I currently play AAU ball with New Heights 16U alongside some of the county's top 2019 prospects. 

I am a lock-down defender and pride myself on having locked up every top/ranked guard I've play from the tri-state area. I can get to the paint with ease and look to find open cutters and shooters. I believe I excel in transition but I am very patient and can slow the game down. I improved my 3-pt shooting and now shoot about 35%.  

Academically I have a 3.0 GPA and I will take the SAT in the fall. I am currently taking 2 AP courses. 

My goal for this summer is to pick up 3-5 more D1 offers.
