Hello my name is Travis Shaquelle Mcghie and I am very interested in playing basketball at the college level divisions 1-3. I have achieved one year of J.V basketball during my Sophomore year finishing the season with 129 pts, ranked 22/129 top scorers in my division. Aside from high school J.V basketball, I was awarded several trophies during my six years of playing basketball for my local church league Ministry in action. I have also received a second place trophy in a Junior Knicks tournament where I averaged 12 points a game at my local YMCA in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn. Over the last three summers I've been attending Jim Boeheim's basketball camp at Syracuse University. As a member of my schools J.V basketball team I averaged 9.21 points per game playing the 1-3 positions. I was also the inbounds man and had several plays set for me to score. I weigh 134ibs, height 5'11 with an Athletic build. My intension is to join a university division 1-3 college with high academic levels by obtaining some sort of financial aid. I now finished my first Varsity season (2010-2011) playin as a shooting guard and a small forward. For the season I came off the bench but was aloud to start for two games. I averaged 4.79 pts and 2 rebounds. My season high was 16pts along with a high of 5 assist. I didnt recieve much playing time at the start of the season but worked my way up. I am now a candidate to recieve the most impoved player award. Besides high school varsity i've played in another tournament where i averaged 15ppg. For now I am looking forward to playing a season with the Long Island Knights AAU program for more experience, exposure, and skill so that I can have a great varsity season next year. I am willing to work hard.
