I've been playing basketball since 2nd grade and have always been passionate about it. I train 2-3 hours a day. I've been playing on a Varsity team since my freshman year. Because I started varsity level in my freshman year, I struggled in the beginning with my ability to play on this intense level, however I quickly adapted with the help of my coaches and extensive training. In my sophomore year I played strong and I knew what was expected of me. During this year I had 16 rebounds and broke my school record. I was named all-conference that year. I also volunteer at the local PAL center, worked the Special Olympics and camps for younger kids from 6-14 years old. The positives of my game are that I love to compete and fight on the block, I can shoot from all spots on the court, and with my strength I can finish after contact. I am looking forward to learning and competing on the college level. I can deliver a lot of assets to a college team. The things that I can deliver to a team is a hard working player, I can turn a negative on one side on the floor to a positive on the other, and if needed I will battle for all my minutes and I will do anything that is asked of me for my team to win.
