My name is Ben Jordan, and I am currently a Senior at Ithaca High School in Ithaca, NY. School is always my priority, and basketball is my passion. In school, I work hard to maintain excellent grades and I challenge myself in the courses that I take. I am also part of my high school's concert band, and am the First Bassoonist/Section Leader. I have been playing organized basketball since 3rd grade. Since that time, I have learned that basketball has helped me grow in many ways. It has taught me to always keep working hard, and to persevere through difficult times on or off the court.
I am interested in playing college basketball because it is my goal to continue playing the sport competitively for as long as I can and continue to grow as a player. My hope is to find a college that challenges me academically and gives me the opportunity to play the sport I love so much.
