Delano Knox '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Delano Knox, an athletic playmaking and scoring guard looking for the best fit for myself at the next level. I have a strong handle and can finish extremely well through contact.  I am unselfish with excellent vision that allows me to find my teammates at the right times.  I am a pace setter who runs the floor and hits big shots.  I can easily adapt to different styles of play and guard a wide variety of positions using my length and quickness. My work ethic on and off the court is strong and I pride myself on that. I’m very coachable and will do the little things in order to get my team a win.

I was on my high school’s varsity basketball team as a freshman making me one of two in my school’s history. I earned All-League, and Scholar Athlete awards my sophomore year. I was awarded All-County, All-League and Scholar Athlete awards this past condensed season averaging over 20 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in the eight full games I played.

I am an Honor Roll student and was recently selected to the National Honor Society. I was also a member of the Arlington HS Equity Team and I am currently participating in the My Brothers’ Keeper club. I am a leader on the Student Athletic Council and was honored to receive the Sportsmanship Award for all sports for this past season.
