Kyran Mosher '22 Recruiting Profile

My front yard is a basketball court.  Literally.  

Old-school post would best describe my playing style.  In the past two years I've spent a lot of time refining my footwork to become quicker and more versatile in the block.  I have a good shooting touch and I use my size and strength to get to the basket. I can hit the three, but I rarely get that chance as my size is more helpful to my team when I'm near the basket. Defensively, I like to disrupt. I enjoy altering shots and blocking as many of them as I can.  I enjoy playing defense as much as I do playing in the post.

Collegiate ball most interests me because of the opportunity to learn more about the game and about teammates from backgrounds other than mine. My school coaches would describe me as easy to coach and a team-first player willing to get that crucial defensive rebound in a close game.

I love weight-lifting and hiking and I spend a lot of time skiing as well. Long term, I am interested in pursuing a career in the electrical and construction trades. My goal is to eventually start my own contracting business.
