My name is Jacob Shadders. I am a Scholar Athlete with a 91.4 GPA, a 2021 Point Guard at Pittsford-Mendon High School in Rochester, NY. I think my biggest strengths on the court are my basketball IQ and a disciplined work ethic. My goal is to play basketball as a team with a unified focus on consistently playing with excellence and winning! My coaches and teammates describe me as a goal oriented, driven, hard working leader who leads by example and puts team ahead of my own self-interest. 

In school, my coaches selected me to be part of the inaugural class of athletes who demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and ability. In addition, I'm a Link Crew Leader who helps orientate underclassmen/women into their high school experience. In my Community I'm involved in; teaching basketball skills/drills to the youth in our town and the Operation Christmas Child Charity work through my church.

It is my dream to play basketball at the highest level I can with a program focused on winning championships by leveraging the power of a team mindset! As a proven floor general with extremely strong leadership ability and 2019 NYS Championship Game experience, I am confident I can continue facilitating a winning tradition at the college level.
