Ian VanWagner '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ian VanWagner and I am a 6'2" Point Guard/Shooting Guard in the class of 2027. I am in my Sophomore year of High School in Potsdam, NY. I just completed my 4th year of Varsity Basketball. I have served as the team co-captain the past 3 seasons. In the Spring and Summer, I also play on the City Rocks EYBL circuit team. 

My love for basketball runs deep. On offense I can bring up the ball against pressure and facilitate and offense to find my teammates. I also can be a lethal scorer from both the outside and attacking the basket. On defense I love guarding the opponent's best player and using my length and instincts to disrupt the other team and create turnovers. I will do whatever is needed to help my team be successful.  

My goal is to play Division 1 Basketball at the highest level and to be a part of a program.
