Christopher Kozlowski '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christopher Kozlowski, and I am from Pulaski, NY. I have lived in New York for several years. I am from a military family, and we have moved around often.  I have a few interests for my college degree. Environmental Science, Athletic Training, and Computer Science/Video Game Design. My strongest interest is Environmental Science. I enjoy learning about natural and man-made environments as well as conservation and sustainability. My goal is to succeed academically in my field of study, and enter a career in which I can use what I have learned in college. 

I have been playing basketball for seven years. I started playing on the Little East team in 5th grade. I have learned that my hard work and dedication pays off. I was cut from Jr. Varsity the first year I tried out. I did not quit, I continued to work hard and got better every day. The second year I tried out for Jr. Varsity, I made the team. I was captain that year, and we only lost one game that season. This year was my first year on Varsity. Unfortunately, I suffered a concussion halfway into the season which took me out of the game. I play basketball almost daily, I go to the weight room every day, and I go to school an hour earlier in the morning (when the coach is there) to practice shooting. I love the game, and am extremely passionate and dedicated to basketball. I feel I am a good candidate for any college basketball team. I'm hard working, disciplined, and I'm not afraid to put forth the effort needed to better myself. I am also a good team player, and will respect all the players, as well as the coaches.
