My name is Jeffrey Jung, I am a 6'4" Guard/Forward from Rochester, New York and I will be graduating with the class of 2019. I have started for my Varsity basketball team at Greece Olympia for the past two years and I am looking forward to see what these next two years have in store for me. Throughout my first two years of high school I have maintained a 3.8 GPA while participating in three sports. For my high school I participate in football, basketball, and golf. This upcoming school year I accepted the role as Class President and will play a prominent role in the National Honor Society. I can offer a lot of things to a college basketball program. I work hard, as I am the first player to the gym and am the last player to leave, it has been a goal of mine to play basketball at the collegiate level my whole life and my drive and passion for the game can help a college team tremendously. As for my physical abilities that I have to offer, I am a lengthy wing player who can draw taller defenders to the perimeter to make it easier for my teammates to get to the rim. It also allows me to either shoot over them with my potent three point shot or blow past them to the rim. If I have a smaller defender on me I can take them in the post and shoot over them. I am searching for an institution that would offer me a great balance between academics and athletics. I would like this school to be a relatively large school that welcomes a "college town" atmosphere. I am interested in a lot of schools in the Carolina's because of the atmosphere that surrounds those schools, but I am open to looking into as many schools as possible no matter the location. I have narrowed my possible college majors to Sports Management, Sports Journalism, and Teaching (Specifically Physical Education). Some of my collegiate athletic goals include playing as a freshman, playing at the highest competition level possible, and to have a positive impact on the team. Ideally I would like to create a lasting impact for my program that I initiate early in my career. I will work hard in my final two years of high school to pursue those college aspirations. I plan on taking my SAT this upcoming spring in what will be my Junior year. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and I look forward to you contacting me in regards to my future.
