Josh Vaccaro '29 Recruiting Profile

I’ve loved basketball since I was a little kid and I’ve had many great experiences with the game. Winning multiple basketball tournaments over the last few years are definitely the highlights of my career.  Being an essential part of a team in a big game is a great feeling. What I’ve found though, is that losing close games, has led me to growing as a person and provided focus on what I need to improve on to bring my team to the next level.

Over the years of me playing basketball, I’ve learned how leadership and  commitment are a big part of the game and how it’s needed for all players to learn. I’m now looking for an opportunity where I can develop as a student but also as an athlete. I’m currently a captain for soccer and basketball and know what it takes to be a leader on a team.  I believe that I have the qualities and skills that will allow me to have an immediate impact as a player on your team.
