My Name is Cole Ganim and I am a 6'3, 175 lb, versatile shooting guard. I am a 3-year varsity player; in my Sophomore year, I sat the bench and learned the system to prepare for a bigger role in my junior year. During my junior year, I played behind 4 starting seniors. I learned a lot, I competed with great talent and emerged as a leader for my team.
During my senior season, I will be working hard to develop my all-around offensive skills. Coaches often call me "program glue" or the "glue guy." I can guard all five positions, I look to pass first and get my teammates involved, I'm not afraid to be coached hard and I look to push my teammates.
Basketball has given me the opportunity to excel in a leadership role. Basketball has taught me that patience, persistence and a strong work ethic will help me be successful not only on the court but off it as well. It has also taught me that challenges come in all different shapes and sizes and that even when things get hard, I can pull from the tough times I have gone through to help me to be successful.
