Evan Sweeney '23 Recruiting Profile

I have had a passion for playing basketball since I joined my first team in kindergarten. Quickly, I learned to excel as a ball handler, shooter and figured out how to find my teammates and get them the ball. To me, I enjoy living in the gym, basketball playgrounds and finding any pickup game I can.  

My coaches describe me as having a great work ethic, always being a team player, a guard who takes very good care of the ball, knows when to pass and knows when to score. I am a confident three point shooter, free throw shooter, can slash to the basket and score most my points at clutch times in the games. I always have good full court vision and can execute play calls even in transition. 

My college ambitions are to find the right college basketball team for me where my talents are most utilized and i can grow every season. Division level is less important to me.  Finding that team family and coaches that all believe in each other and work together is paramount!
