Hello. My name is Terrence O. Crawford, a 2019 graduate from Hugh M. Cummings, III High School in Burlington, NC. I attended Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough, NC, my freshman through junior years. The three basketball seasons at Cedar Ridge High School were challenging, yet rewarding. I played the center/post position during my junior year, though my normal position is shooting guard. I knew I needed to get bigger to be able to play in the paint area, so I spent a lot of time in the weight room to add 15 pounds of muscle during the off-season. It was difficult wrestling with players who were well over six feet tall, but I never failed to put in the work. My greatest accomplishment on the basketball court happened during my junior season when I led the team and conference in charges taken. My team needed everything that I could give them physically, mentality, and emotionally this year. The Cedar Ridge Redwolf motto was "Family...Trust...Change!"
My senior year at Cummings High School was very exciting. I was back to my normal position as shooting guard when I scored 451 of my 1,026 points, 44% of my high school career, in one season. I also collected a career 432 rebounds with 162 in my senior year. My rebounding totals increased each year as my playing time increased. My senior year saw me take 33 charges that not only lead the conference; it lead the state of North Carolina. The 33 charges taken were almost 50% of my career 68 charges taken for an average of 17 per season. I found myself growing as a person on the court as well as off the court. I graduated high school as an honor student while maintaining the rigors of basketball.
My life has involved basketball since I was five years of age. Basketball allowed me to spend time with my father who has coached me all my life. I found it difficult, at times, trying to balance my father’s role as a parent and as one of my coaches. He always had my best interest at heart by being direct, honest, and sincere about my basketball career. My desire to continue a basketball career is stronger than ever. I am a determined student and athlete who wants the very best that life has to offer. My parents have instilled in me a strong work ethic, self-respect, and a will to succeed. The following links show a snapshot of who I am as an athlete. Please review my profile for additional information. Thank you for your time.

Team Disciples 17U - Terrence Crawford 6’0 2019
Crawford is a guard that already has a college ready body. He scores it on all the levels but his best weapon is his dribble pull-up where he is able jump over his defender and shoot it at the top of his jump. Good looking prospect that if he keeps developing he will definitely be a college prospect.
