Me wanting to play basketball for fun in 3rd grade and it turning into a lifestyle has been the best journey of my life. The most important thing I’ve learned about myself playing basketball is to rely on myself and to be confident as a player. This really helped in the classroom as well. This experience has really put me in some situations to grow as a person and a leader. Basketball has helped me cope with pain and frustrations I’ve had in my early life.
Growing up in a house where you earn everything you get has really brought me far in life and basketball. I’m really looking forward to the future to see what else basketball brings to the table. I’m looking for a program that will continue to help me build as a player, but to also help build my character.
