Marcus J James 2015
| Marcus J James, always the tallest in his class, started playing basketball at the age of 7 yrs old. Committed to being a better player. Marcus practiced almost everyday to make his game better and better, Now at 6 ft 5 in and 275 lbs. He is the starting center/power foward for The Fayetteville Spurs 10th grade AAU basketball team. At 15 years old in his sophomore year, he worked his way to starting center on Douglas Byrd High School varsity basketball team after only four games. At 14 years old, he was the starting center/ power forward for his 9th grade JV (Douglas Byrd High School) and 8th grade middle school (Douglas Byrd Middle School) team (also named teams 8th grade MVP) and was the starting center on his AAU basketball team the Fayetteville Spurs AAU 14U which he has played for, for 3 years, coached by Andre Stewart and Darrell Hayden. Marcus is an A - B student realizing that he is a student athlete (student first, athlete second). his college aspiration is to go to the University of North Carolina or Wake Forest wanting to major in radio broadcasting |
