Colin Johnson '21 Recruiting Profile

      One of my biggest goals as of right now is to play a sport in college. I also want to be top tier in terms of my academics because I know sports is a risky investment. As for academics, I am interested in business, finance, and marketing. As an athlete I like to play basketball and track and want to make it as far as I can in either two. 

     The school that I go to is built to be an academically-oriented school. I feel like I stand out in a sense because my drive in the classroom is just the same as my drive on the court. I want to alter the state of my school and show other kids that you can get an athletic scholarship at an education-filled environment. Of course, my academics will always come first but I will still work everyday to better myself on the basketball court. I would love to be the first student-athlete there to ever receive a sport scholarship. 

      I love to outwork people and I don’t stand down from a challenge. I push myself in the classroom just like I do on the track or on the field.  Sports are my passion so I will do whatever it takes to make a team great. I will not quit, I will always continue to work hard and put my team before myself.
