Will Seward '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Seward, and I’m class of 2026 at Hoggard High School in Wilmington, NC. I’m working hard to find an opportunity at the next level where I can contribute to a college basketball program and get a great education while doing so.

I’ve posted some videos here with highlights from my junior season - there is a shorter version (~3 mins) as well as a longer version (~10 mins) showing a broader range of my skill set.  If you'd like to see more of me playing our best competition, there's also a video with my highlights from 5 games against the best teams we played this season.

For the 2025 AAU season, I played with Warriors Life Elite 2026 based in Eastern NC.  I've included here a couple videos with some highlights from Phenom May events and Phenom Live Session 2 in July.  

I will be at the Team Jones Elite Basketball Camp at Yale on August 2 & 3 (attending both days).  I'm currently working on my schedule for college visits in the fall.  If you think I can help your program, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Hoggard competes in the largest Class in North Carolina (moving to new 8A class for 2025-26 season).  For the 2024-25 season, we finished 22-6, losing in the 2nd round of the NC 4A State Playoffs.  I primarily play Wing/Small Forward but have versatility to cover other positions when the team needs it.  I contributed by leading the team in points (14.6 pg), rebounds (5.7 pg), and shooting 59% total FG.  I’m also a committed defender with the ability to disrupt offenses on the perimeter and protect the rim in the paint (led the Conference in blocked shots).  

In March 2025, I was voted First Team all-Conference, selected First Team all-Area by Star News, and voted Third Team all-District 2 by the NC Basketball Coaches Association (1 of only 4 juniors/sophomores selected to any team in the District).  I was also voted team MVP by my teammates.
