Brody Weigel '26 Recruiting Profile

My goal since I started basketball in 2nd grade was to play at the college level.  I genuinely love the sport of basketball and the team aspect of the game. I have a high basketball IQ and read the floor very well earning me a spot on JV/V as a Freshman.  I am an unselfish player who cares about the win and stays calm under pressure which is what quickly earned me the starting point guard position as a sophomore and continued into my junior year.  I am known as the player whose motor never dies and have the ability to go long periods without a sub, currently I average 30 minutes of playing time her game.  I am usually assigned to guard the opposing teams best player and have received the award for most charges taken in a season.  

I have played for the same AAU traveling basketball program since 6th grade earning a spot on their top prospects team.

I am a multi-sport athlete and play the position of quarterback & cornerback, helping lead my freshman team to an undefeated season and junior year varsity team to make the playoffs.  I also coach a 4th grade traveling basketball team while maintaining a 3.7 GPA.
