Joshua Walker '16 Recruiting Profile

My Collegiate Goal is to go get my Bachelor's and Master's Degree. I am not going to College to go to Frat Parties and to mess around with girls while I'm there. I am a good candidate because, not going to college to just play Basketball, to me Basketball is a Privelage. I am different from other recruits in character because I'm serious when needed but can also be very fun when somebodies day is not going well, I put god and family before anything. I'm different in Athletics because, I put my team before anything on the court, I will want to be that person my coach picks to take the game winning shot or that person that the players and the coach depend on when we are down, and I'm not scared to call my mistakes and I will take the lead or the blame for a win or loss. I am also a team player and try to get my team involved before I get myself going, But to me I don't need to score every game as long as we win I am satisfied, and I am not going to win an NCAA Championship that is not my main goal, I'm going to become a better player and learn what needs to be learned. I am different academically because I might not have a 4.0 but I always participate and I will always do my best on any project, homework assignments, or Tests. I will strive for greatness Academically, and Athletically and Spiritually and that is why I am different from other Recruits. Another reason I'm different from other recruits, though I'm small height does not intimidate more of motivate me because when  I was little I wa always scared of people bigger than me, but my dad always told me to never be scared of anyone, but god and till this day from 5 till I'm dead I will never let someone's size intimidate me.
