As a student athlete I have the best interests in having a great education through my talents in basketball, because in the end that is what will stand for me.

I am a very hard working person both on and off the floor. I play basketball every day and it is just a part of me. Every day I am doing something to make my game better, even on off -days.  No matter where I go to continue my education through basketball, I will be in the gym. I can guarantee hard work, effort and will.  As a student of the game, I love learning to gain every edge on my opponent.  My ultimate goal in basketball is to reach my maximum potential and be the best player I can be. It is also to increase the potential and success of the people around me.

I am very coach-able person who follows game plans and makes sure that it is done with perfection. I am also a team player that lives by playing 5 on 5 and not 1 on 5. I have great leadership skills because I can lead both by example and word. If the game is on the line I want the ball in my hands so I can make the right play for our team to win, that may even be finding the hot hand for the win.  Due to my competitiveness I enjoy playing good defense and shutting down the other team’s best player.  I can rebound, pass, move off the ball and do other small things to make my team successful.

My goals are to keep playing this sport at a higher level and to also pursue an education. I would like to make it to the pros and one day be able to give back to my community and my society.
