Personal Statement

My ultimate goal is to have my love of basketball provide me an excellent post-secondary education. As a point guard, I take pride in making my teammates better through my leadership, unselfishness and high basketball IQ. My passion for the game has no bounds, as I continuously strive to improve my abilities.

I am the epitome of what it means to be a student-athlete, as I work just as hard in class as I do on the court. I have been a member of the honor society at my school every year and I maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am a Sea Scout and I volunteer as an assistant coach on the basketball team at my former primary school.

I am seeking to attend a university that will challenge me both academically and as a basketball player. I would like to graduate with a degree in engineering, just like my father.
