Blake Redfern '25 Recruiting Profile

I am a dedicated 2025 student-athlete with a very strong work ethic in both academics and basketball. I would like to focus my post-secondary academics on human kinetics and recreation. Due to my effort, attitude, teamwork, and leadership skills, I have been chosen as captain for my high school varsity basketball team despite being one of the youngest members on the team. As primarily a shooting guard, I continuously work at improving my own game as well as helping to make my team and teammates get better. I have been nominated by my teachers and am participating in a peer mentorship program at my high school that promotes helping younger students that are facing many different challenges.

My college/university goals are to find a great match for both academics and to be a leader in a college basketball program while developing my abilities and contributing to my team towards their goals of championship seasons. I am joining a new club association in February 2023. I will be playing for the U17 London Ramblers, Division 1 in the Ontario Basketball League.
