Freddy Sokeng Tsopmo '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Freddy Sokeng Tsopmo from the city of Ottawa (Ontario, Canada). .I play on my high school and club team. I am a good team and individual defender also I can handle very especially in a pressure situation but mostly I love getting my teammates throughout the game.

I currently play for Pierre-Savard High School’s Senior basketball team. We’ve overcome a lot throughout the last few years and got better as a team. We went from playing in Tier 1 to being a Double AA team . My club team is also really good, as we were a Division 1 team in the OBA tournament (Ontario Basketball Association). For example, I learned to create my own opportunities to be successful, not only in basketball but in life as well. Throughout my years of playing basketball, I learned that the environment in which players play has a big role in the team’s success rate. No matter how good or bad the situation was for me and my team at some points, it made me better as player and as an individual.

As a student, I am determined in regards to getting good grades in the classroom. I currently have an Academic grade average of 75% and I’m going to receive Bilingual Certification. My goal for this school year is to learn different and efficient methods for me learn and further better myself academically. I want my academic grade average at 85% and more at the end of this school year.
