Collin Huun '14 Recruiting Profile

Through my first year at Chemeketa Community College and my high school career (6A division), I have learned that hard work and diligence pays off. This past season I was named Freshman of the Year and First Team for the NWAC Southern Region Conference. In addition I led my team in points, steals, 3 pointers, free throws (attempted and made), free throw and 3 point percentages. Prior to this, I ended my high school career with a 25 game winning streak. I was also named First Team All State tournament, First Team All Conference, and First Team All mid-valley. I broke a few school records (92 threes in one season with a 49% shooting percentage for threes). I hold the state tournament record for most consecutive free throws (12). In addition, I was the second leading scorer in Oregon. I am also a STUDENT ATHLETE with a 3.5 college GPA and a 3.64 high school GPA. My desire to continue to work hard at the next level, in basketball and academics, makes me a good candidate for my future team.
