hello my name is Ni’juan Thornwell and I think I would a good asset to your program. I became interested in basketball around 7th grade. I used to go to my dad’s aau team practice where he would coach I would help the team out with there drills and other stuff. I really got closer to basketball when my dad died he was the reason I loved basketball and it made me feel closer to him just being around a ball. I learned that I don’t like losing not just in basketball but in life. I learned from basketball that when you put in effort you get back progress. I learn Basketball gives me opportunities to get away from negative things in my life like my neighbor hood.
This past basketball season I didn’t really get opportunity to get in the games but I kept working and didn’t quit and learned a lot from my coaches. They taught me to live eat and sleep basketball. He would tell me if I’m not doing anything go put shots up or if I’m walking to the store dribble a ball or shoot the ball while laying down in the house. He taught me to just think basketball regularly even though they didn’t give me a chance I kept my head up and worked.
