Lemuel Sanchez '22 Recruiting Profile

  Since I was four years old, I loved seeing my father and older brother play basketball. That drove me not only to love the game but to be part of it. I have been playing organized basketball since I was six years old and the game has given me health, discipline, mental strength, and the drive to wake up every day and be the best version of myself. Since I began playing, I have adopted better nutritional habits and improved my training. I have also learned to manage the victories and failures on and off the court. 

 I am a team player that loves to see how much my team improves, grows, and becomes a family. I consider myself a very competitive player; I have a great court vision, I am excellent scorer, and a strong defender. I always bring my values to the court and look to make my team better. In my freshman year of the high school I yearn to be a starting player and help my team achieve success in school championships.

 Academically, I have performed excellently, achieving membership in my school honor roll and National Honor Society. My goal is to go to college while keeping high academic standards. I want to play basketball at the highest level possible while graduating with the highest honors. For me being a good player and a good student are two sides of the same coin. One is not more important than the other. Therefore, I will continue to be motivated and working on being an outstanding student and athlete.
