Personal Statement

ENDORSEMENTS

Riley has great range as a shooter, particularly effective shooting off the dribble.  Above average point guard skills with a high basketball IQ.  He is a tenacious defender who hawks the ball, causing a lot of defensive turnovers.  It has been an absolute joy coaching him and there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is a D-I level talent.

Coach Dwayne Bryant - ATX Knights 16U - Georgetown University Point Guard - 1986-1990,  1986 McDonald's All-American

A team leader with a high basketball IQ.   Just earned Academic All District Honors for the 2017-2018 school year.  His presence on the court makes the entire team better.

Coach Michael Robertson - ATX Knights Founder and AAU Team Coach

STATEMENT FROM RILEY

I am a player that makes everyone around me better. I am a pass first type of PG but I can knock down any shot if needed. I have loved basketball since I was little kid. I play with heart 110% of the time. I want to be able to play at the highest level.  I have dreams to play in college, and perhaps beyond that, and I will work as hard as possible to make that dream come true.  Beyond basketball, I think I would be interested in becoming a trainer ( a sports trainer, medical or a skills trainer) or a coach.  I don't care about scoring 40 points a night or padding my stats.  At the end of the day all I want is to win , it's my competitive nature.
