I'm looking for an opportunity to be at the college that is the best fit for me academically and athletically. I started playing basketball when I was about eight years old, and although I liked it and enjoyed playing the game, I didn't get seriously interested until about my freshman or sophomore year. That is when I realized my desire and my ability to play at the college level. I play basketball because I enjoy playing the game, it's just something I really love to do. I also know that basketball is a privilege, and through the privilege of basketball, I can attend college, get a degree and ultimately become the person I wish to become, all while doing the thing I love most. I am different than most recruits in character because I am very disciplined and I am always looking to improve. Through playing this sport, I have learned that on and off the court, there will always be distractions or things you cannot control. However, you just have to work around those things and concentrate on the things you can control. I eventually want to be able to help others accomplish their goals and dreams, just as others have done for me. The other thing I really enjoy doing most (other than basketball) is spending time doing things with my family.
