I fell in love with basketball about at toddler age. My brother was a very hard playing basketball player and had aspirations of playing in college. I was sitting in basketball gyms every weekend from the time I was born. I started playing when I was 6 years old and played on all boys team at the YMCA. I started playing Select in Middle School. My coaches have always told me that my basketball IQ is at a high level. I see the court and I am not a selfish player. I believe it's a team sport and I always will try to orchestrate the play that helps the team win.
My areas of opportunity are- learning when to help take over the game. I sometimes lack confidence and will share the ball too much when my Coaches tell me that I should be the one taking the shot.
My academics is #1 to me. One day, there won't be basketball. I am somewhat of a perfectionist with school. I do not want to settle for less.
I live in a very diverse world and community and want to attend a diverse college.
