Mateo Garcia-Matthews '25 Recruiting Profile

No matter which team I play for I make sure to play with as much energy and hustle as possible giving everything I have to my game while maintaining a balance with my academics and life outside of basketball. I have experience in every position, starting and coming off the bench providing a spark in scoring, rebounding, playmaking, and defense as well as overall good teammate energy. I possess a general high IQ when bringing the ball up the floor to find open teammates but I also demonstrate high athleticism when finishing and driving to the rim. I know how to and have had much experience with winning championships and individual awards, and I would use this experience and skill on whichever team I decide to play for so that I can be the best teammate possible.
