Michael Gonzalez '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Gonzalez, I attend Bishop High School class of 2015. I first picked up the basketball at the age of 5, and I have been playing since then. I've been on varsity since my sophomore year, I was a starter all 3 years, I ended my high school career with 1,103 points, I achieved 1st Team All District sophomore year and Offensive MVP back to back my junior and senior year. I hold the school record for most 3's in a season and most 3's in a game. I plan to graduate in four years and get my degree in Nursing. I aspire to achieve greatness through hard work and leadership. I am very open-minded and I learn quickly. I thrive under pressure and work hard to succeed with my life goals. What sets me apart from other players is my respect for the game and my elders. I was raised to work hard for my goals including achieving high grades and excelling on the court. I am gracious for what has been given to me, so working hard to not let my parents down is a huge motivator. I set the bar high to keep myself motivated to push hard, to provide leadership, and to help others on and off the court. I am just trying to continue my career with basketball, I'll be playing at a 2 year college, by the name of St.Philips College. I'm hoping to play at a University next year.
