Cade Nicholson '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cade Nicholson and I am a 6’2 shooting guard from Calallen, TX. I have spent most of my life around college athletics. My dad is a college softball coach and we have moved a few times in my life. Fortunately I have spent my high school career at the same school as we moved to Texas right before I started high school. My first 2 years were spent on the JV team, and last year I was the 6th man on the varsity team. I have spent my high school years working to improve all facets of my game, most specifically my defense and ball handling. I believe my biggest asset is my basketball IQ, and ability to make the right decision at key times. I am a student of the game and want to learn more on an everyday basis. Once my playing career is over I would love to get into coaching so I try to learn from everybody I am around. I love to compete, I love the pressure of a close game, and I am willing to work hard everyday to make myself the best player I can be.
