Senior WorkoutI started my high school journey at Prosper High School and played basketball. As a ninth grader I played Varsity. My father lost his job and we had to move back to our home in Flower Mound, Texas. Although we moved to Flower Mound, LISD is an open school district, we decided based on issues surrounding Flower Mound High School it would be a better fit for me to attend Lewisville High School. Lewisville offered educational opportunities for leadership, socially and academically a more acceptable environment. I sat out of sports the entire academic year looking forward to being eligible to play sports the following year. My parents decided to divorce due to problems they were having. My father wanted similar opportunities as Lewisville offers, we decided on The Colony. My father and I was schedule to move to The Colony mid to late September. My Father requested a transfer, in the meantime my parents decided to remain together and try to work out their issues. As much as I was happy that my parents were fighting to maintain our family; I was disappointed how this entire situation was impacting my high school experience. I was declared ineligible, we fought the decision and won eligibility late in the season, then covid 19. Due to the virus, I did not participate in sports my senior year. I am a committed student athlete that is seeking an opportunity to play college athletics at a high level and complete my educational goals.
