Anthony Stephens '28 Recruiting Profile

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Anthony Stephens, Texas born, Texas raised, Texas strong. I come from a loving family seeking better opportunities through my academics and athleticism. I'm the oldest sibling, I have a younger brother that looks up to me. Without my families unwavering support, pushing me to be the best version I can be, this journey couldn't be possible.

Growing up my first love was soccer, as I matured, basketball became my true love. It's all I think about and I want to do. There's not a day that goes by I don't have a ball in my hands. Rain, sleet, snow, you can bet I'll be playing. While others rest, I'm getting better getting a leg up on the competition.

I'm a goal-oriented person with a strong will to win displaying leadership attributes I contribute, on and off the court to my teammates. Similarities to my Lego's, I fit things where they belong, always working the problem in order to find solutions that work, translating to ongoing success. When adversity pokes its ugly head, I channel my focus to the present moment in order to steer myself to clarity and peace. No matter the mismatch or competition, my positivity prevails.
