One of my goals and aspirations once completed the twelfth grade is to obtain a scholarship at a university in the United States to complete studies leading to a Bachelor's Degree in accounting. After that, I intend to pursue a Master's Degree in finance, as I aspire to become a Certified Public Accountant. Considering my skills and performance in court I believe I am a good candidate to join a basketball team. My qualities and abilities can contribute to help my team achieve goals and grow closer as a team, human beings, and professionals. My dedication and commitment to the game and sport make me different from other players. I believe this is also demonstrated by my performance in court understand the things that makes me different from other players is my experience and performance in court, as well as the average points scored per game. I have also maintained my physical and mental condition and have disciplined myself with daily training.
I have played consecutively for ten years in many leagues and local tournaments in Puerto Rico. Throughout these tournaments, I have won several awards for MVP and All Star Player. I have also had the opportunity of playing in various U.S. tournaments, such as Boys Basketball Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), Kingwood Bigfoot Hoops Classic, Memorial Day Indi Hoops Madness and Little Lads of the Caribbean. I have an ample vision while in court and I am accustomed to playing under pressure. I play as a team, never putting my interest before those of my team.
My love for basketball has never interfered with my academics. Both are equally important to me. I am an ongoing student at twelfth grade at Bayamon Military Academy. I am bilingual (English and Spanish) and I am an outstanding student who belongs to the honor roll with a GPA of 3.93 cumulated up to eleventh grade. At my school, I am part of the AFJROTC (US Air Force Program), which aims to train young people to be responsible, respectful, obedient, and disciplined future citizens. Under this program I have taken courses in leadership, astronomy, and aviation.
I have qualities that have distinguished me from others. I am disciplined, skilled, self-confident, initiative, have a high degree of commitment and I can concentrate even under great pressure. Attitudes such as security, cooperation, respect, motivation and strategic intelligence, have led me to become an elite player in Puerto Rico.
