Antoine James '17 Recruiting Profile

     My Short Term Collegiate goal is to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Sports Medicine as a Physical Therapist.  My Long Term Collegiate goal is to earn my Masters Degree and eventually work in the National Basketball Association as a trainer.  My Grade Point Average is currently a 2.8 and I am enrolled in Advanced Placement Classes and made the Honor Roll third and fourth semester of the 2015-2016 school year.

I am a good candidate for your team because I am extremely loyal and dedicated to the sport.

     Some of my good attributes and characteristics that may set me apart from my teammates are I am an unselfish, poised, coachable, and flexible player accepting any role and responsibility that my coach and teammates need me to step into to ensure our success.  

     My summer goals for playing with Urban Asak Elite are to work on my defense, passing, and scoring in the paint. On August 11, I completed a three day four times a day workout with Sean Hardeman at the Ball Hard Prep Academy in Austin, Texas

     During the 2014-2015 season my hardwork and dedication to the game payed off and I played an intricate role in Killeen Shoemaker earning its first Bi-District Championship 2014-2015 season.  During the season I earned All Area Newcomer of the Year Award,  Killeen Shoemaker's Most Improved Player, and earned the Player of the Week award as the sixth man. kdhnews.com/kdhpressbox/shoemaker/sportsstats/high_school/schools/player_of_the_week/james-earns-player-of-the-week-award/article_8a98eb20b8cd-11e4-9a0a-1b0ec3a3a35563. 

     During the 2015-2016 season as a Junior I earned a starting position over four Seniors. My AAU team accolades include the following:

     In 2015, Spring/Summer Killeen/CTX Dream 17U Varsity Team were Las Vegas Silver Bracket Champions, Kansas Nationals Sweet 16, Kingwood Classic Champion, GASO Lewisville Champion, Big Cup EYBL Elite 8, and GASO Bryant Elite 8.  I had 8 double doubles earning me Offensive MVP.

     On February 17, 2016, I was added to the ASAK Urban Elite Spring/Summer Championship Basketball Team's roster competing in the Adidas Gauntlet, asak.urbanelitebasketball.com/news.
