My parents raised me to always put education first with sports coming in close second. My father is a college professor and my mother is an ER nurse and I get my work ethic from them. They push me to make sure that I excel in the classroom and on the court. My attention to detail in the classroom bleeds over onto the court--I consider myself a student of the game. While I'm constantly thinking about ways of improving my game, I'm the type of player that puts the team first. I try to be the first guy to help my teammate up when they hit the court, and if a guy is having a rough night shooting I'm still clapping him up to make sure he's ready the next time he gets the ball. I give maximum effort every time I step on the court especially on defense-- challenging bigs in the post and guards at the top of the key. I also am a pitcher and outfielder for the baseball team.
