Marshall Edwards '19 Recruiting Profile

When I attend college, I not only want to be an athlete, but I also want to obtain a degree in Forensic Science. I believe athletics with the mentoring of a good coach will provide structure to help shape my future. I was raised in a household that promotes honor, character, integrity, a good work ethic, and faith in God. This has translated into making me a spiritual young man and understanding there are consequences for every action.

I will work hard in school, both on and off the court. After practice and school, I spend lots of time in the gym or at the park working on shooting and other basketball drills. I have dedicated my time to positive activities, tutoring, weightlifting and running. I am usually the first one in the gym and the last one to leave. I am a quick learner and able to follow instructions.

I believe in team first and I have molded my game after players with that same attitude. I believe in putting the team's success ahead of my individual stats. I believe in doing all the small things to help my team win and do whatever is asked of me from the coach. I was taught that the word DONE does not mean just finishing your job, but helping your team to finish their job, as well.
