Evan Millard '24 Recruiting Profile

Growing up with hard-working parents and surrounding myself with successful role models has influenced the person I am. I am dedicated, competitive and fully committed to working hard and improving myself every day. I know that nothing is handed to me, and if I want to succeed I have to work hard and accomplish it myself. My positive mindset and respect for my peers makes me different from the others.

My coaches know me as respectful, attentive and dependable. In 2019 I was awarded Soccer Player of the Year for my school. A few years ago I was chosen as one of the room leaders on a national tournament trip. Although the coach only knew me for a few months, he recognized that I was dependable and responsible at age 11 to have this important role. 

My teammates trust me and find me reliable. I will bring these positive behaviors to my college team which will guarantee good chemistry with my teammates and coach.

I am on track to graduate high school with honors which is very important to me. I will choose the right college that ensures that I have an education that allows me a successful career.

I have loved basketball since the age of 5 when I used to stay up late watching NBA games and dream that I would one day be in an NBA player’s shoes.
