Anthony Romanelli '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Anthony Romanelli; I am 5’10, 160 lb, PG/ Shooting Guard for the (6A) Varsity Team at the Spring Creek Academy (SCA) Plano TX. This summer, I started for the TRT Summer AAU team. Below are the achievements during this summer.

• Quarter Finals in the Adidas Silver Gauntlet Championship Tournament – Westchester New York
• Runner Up at the Rice University team tournament – Houston Texas
• Runner Fab 48 tournament in Las Vegas,
• Quarterfinals at the Oklahoma State University team tournament.

During that time I averaged 14 points and 4 assists and 3 steal per game.

I have a 4.0 GPA, 1310 SAT Score and I am in the top 5% of my class. I’m the Treasurer of my student council and I am also in National Honors Society. As an IT support administrator at my school, I would like to major in business and engineering  to form a company, like my father, in 3D printing industry. I’m currently taking three AP classes (total 6 AP’s I have taken) and the rest are all honors classes.

While I was born in Sydney, Australia, I lived most of my life in Singapore. As a child, I have played at local basketball clubs throughout Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines with the dream that I could play College Basketball in the United States. It became closer into grasp when my family and I moved to Dallas, Texas.
