Jeff Machani '28 Recruiting Profile

Even since i played 2K with my uncle on his Xbox 360, i knew i wanted to be a basketball player. I used to dream of hitting that buzzer beater shot, or dunking for the first time. I've always been a dreamer. Everything I have done i do to my best ability. I have wanted to play at a collegiate level for a long time in my life. It was always a dream but now i know what it takes to make it happen. My mom struggles and works for everything she gives me. She handles it all by herself and that is what keeps me going. Going D1 isn't a dream to me anymore, it is a goal that i will achieve. I want to be the first in my family to play ball in college. I want to show my little sisters that they can do anything they put their mind too. I work hard to prove i have what it takes, and I'm ready to take challenges that nobody will. I improve faster each day. What separates me from others is that they play for fun, I play for me and my family's future. Academically i want to go to law school later in life and pursue a career in law and politics.
