Sports have always been an important part of my life. I started playing basketball when I was 7 years old. Through the years I've gained valuable experience, knowledge of the game, and confidence. Sports have taught me many important values that have made me a better player. but more importantly, a better person overall. Through basketball I've learned how to be a team player, how to strategize and problem solve, and how to pick others up when needed. My parents have raised me to lead by example and to do what's right even when no else is watching. These values extend beyond the court.
In addition to sports, academics is another priority in my life. I maintain a 4.0 GPA. My goal is to graduate in the top 10 percent of my class and continue playing basketball at the college level. I am thankful for my family and coaches that have supported get to this point.
