Personal Statement
As long as I can remember, the only thing I have wanted to do was play basketball. My mom signed me up for Upward in 2nd grade and I instantly fell in love.
My love for the game is my strongest asset. It is what keeps me in the gym 4-5 hours almost daily. It is what drives me to watch game film when I have free time, to hit the weight room every day after school, to attend camps, and go to private lessons. I know I will continue to need to work on aspects of the game. You can always get stronger, faster, more agile, but this love is what makes me one of the hardest working athletes you will meet.
Striving to play to college ball is helping me focus more on academics and I plan to increase my GPA. I know that I need to focus on school and find a career, but I have yet to decide what field I want to enter.
I look forward to seeing where this game takes me and continuing to pursue my goal of playing college basketball.
