Ike Palmer '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ike Palmer, senior at Herriman High School in the Salt Lake City, UT area.  Since I was 7 years old my goal has been to play basketball at the college level.  6'5", 215 lbs I believe my size and strength is among my greatest attributes.  I have have the versitiliy to play point of combo. guard and even small forward.   I have the ability to facilitate an offense with excellent vision and playmaking IQ or to score at all three levels.  

During my High School career I have been honored to start at the Varsity level since my Freshman Year.  I have earned All State, All Region honors since my sophomore year.  Additionally, I have earned numerous accolades including; multiple ALL Tournament Teams, Larry H. Miller Athlete of the Month and Year, Utah Top 50 selection, JUCO 100 MVP, All Region Defensive team to name a few.  I am also honored to be  have been our team captain for my high school team for the past two years and helped my team improve each year to becoming a strong state contender. During the spring/summer I competed against some of the countries yop talent in the UAA circuit averaging over 18 points, 8 assists and 8 rebounds.  

I have worked hard to develop multiple skills that bring unique versatility to my game.  At 6'5", 215 lbs I am equally comfortable handing the ball and facilitating an offense as I am working the paint and snatching rebounds.  I am often referred to as a very crafty guard with the ability to get my spots and score from all three levels.  

Off the court I excel in school with over a 3.75 GPA.  I am interested in studying busness and marketing where I can continue to grow our family business after my basketball career.  

It would be an honor to play for a program who value my unique skill set and positional size.  Looking for a program with high acemdic standards and where I can make and immediate impact.
